Makeup: Light scars with Tuplast

This week i decided to try out the tuplast for the first time and see how it appeared on the skin.

Health and safety
  • Make sure your model is covered up with a gown to protect their clothes from product spillage, just in case, as this is a messy job.
  • Keep hair away from the face when applying products/ makeup
  • Decant products between each model
  • Keep work surface clear and surrounding area

To create light scars you can use this product called Tuplast from Kryolan, I decanted this onto a palette and applied it onto the skin drawing scarring onto the skin with a spatula. I dried it with a hair dryer and liked the effect on its own, giving a faint but bulky scar on the hand.

It is simple but effective product to use for light scarring and setting it with powder, you can use colour to build on the scarring effect to give more realism.

Products & materials used:
  • Tuplast
  • Palette
  • Brush/ cotton buds
  • Spatula
  • Hair dryer

A few images of the product used a few images of the effect it gave the skin when applied.
